Senior Full Stack Developer
Remote UK / Europe
Within ±4 hours GMT
We are working with a global leader in iGaming operators with over 25 years of successfully launched products across casino and wagering. The business is now entering an exciting new phase with a confidential Web3 crypto iGaming product launch that is designed to compete directly with some of the biggest crypto wagering platforms in the world.
This is a rare opportunity to join a senior engineering team at build stage and have a genuine impact on architecture, performance, and product direction from day one.
The Role
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling a modern, real-time iGaming platform. You will work across backend and frontend systems, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering leaders to deliver a high-performance, secure, and scalable product.
This role is fully remote, ideally suited to candidates based in the UK or Europe within four hours of GMT.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs, services, and web applications
- Work across the full stack using Node.js or Bun, Golang, React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Build and optimise real-time functionality using GraphQL, gRPC, and WebSockets
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, Postgres, and Timescale
- Integrate third-party APIs and services across payments, gaming, and platform tooling
- Optimise performance for high-transaction, real-time environments
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best engineering practices
- Collaborate closely with QA and product teams to ensure high-quality releases
Essential Experience
- 5+ years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer or Software Engineer
- Strong experience with Node.js or Bun, TypeScript, React, and Next.js
- Commercial experience with Golang or a strong willingness to use it
- Strong understanding of real-time systems and event-driven architectures
- Experience with Postgres, Redis, Kafka, and cloud-native infrastructure
- Experience deploying and scaling applications using Kubernetes
- Background in iGaming, sports betting, crypto gaming, or high-transaction platforms
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, build-phase environments
Nice to Have
- Experience in crypto, Web3, or blockchain-enabled products
- Exposure to distributed systems and microservices
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and performance profiling tools
