Project Description

Join us in shaping the future of digital publishing! We develop and maintain a unique ecosystem of in-house platforms:

LAB – our creative hub for managing digital assets and designing engaging, interactive learning activities.

GPD (Digital Publication Manager) – the engine behind Libro Media digital books, transforming traditional PDFs into rich, interactive editions enhanced with multimedia resources.

Kernel – the backbone of our publishing process, handling packaging, release, and seamless distribution of digital books and assets through NPM’s global channels.

Role Responsibilities

  • Technical leadership: Guide development teams on best practices, coding standards, and architectural decisions;
  • Governance: Actively participate in the Tech Lead Forum, facilitating communication and collaboration between Architecture and DevOps teams;
  • Innovate: Working on Proof-of-Concepts to assess new technologies, tools and techniques that could benefit both architectural goals and Engineering processes, and in the end, SL's customers.
  • Cross-team collaboration: with the Architecture Office, with other CLS and non-CLS DevOps teams, with Product Management, etc.;
  • Solution design: Translate high-level architectural vision into practical implementation strategies, incl. estimating high-level effort, i.e. as part of business cases or SL's strategic planning process;
  • Mentorship: Grow the maturity of the DevOps teams by identifying and addressing knowledge or skill gaps;
  • Knowledge sharing: Demonstrating technical thought leadership to a broader audience; We are looking for a candidate with strong technical expertise, a collaborative attitude, and the ability to contribute to system improvements and overall team success.
  • Develop and enhance application features using Angular 15+, TypeScript, NgRx Store (Redux) and RXJS (Reactive Components) for the FrontEnd.
  • Manage deployments in main stores like Google Play and App Store.
  • Strong Knowledge and use Figma for designs.
  • Follow best practices in Accessibility (A11y).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Service Engineers to identify areas for improvement in system architecture, performance, and maintainability.
  • Optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and responsiveness.
  • Knowledge in AWS Infrastructure.
  • Follow best practices in CI/CD (Bitbucket Pipelines), DevOps, and cloud-native development.
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code with a focus on reusability and maintainability.
  • Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and improve overall code quality.

Must-have Requirements

  • FRONTEND Development: Expert in Angular 15+, including Signals and Standalone Components. Strong knowledge of TypeScript, NgRx Store (Redux) and RXJS.
  • Manage deployments in main stores like Google Play and App Store.
  • DevOps & CLOUD: Experience with AWS. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket).
  • BEST PRACTICES & AGILE: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong understanding of software design patterns and SOLID principles.

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • DATABASE & STORAGE: Experience with relational and non relational databases.
  • Knowledge in AWS Infrastructure.
