Job Description


Social Media Manager (Full-Time, Remote)


Aqua Maya is a relatively new charity with a bold mission to provide clean water access to 20 million people in West Africa.


Join us in improving access to clean water in underserved West African communities. We're seeking a full-time Social Media Manager to amplify our mission through engaging content.


 Key Responsibilities

- Create and post 2 customized posts/reels daily (Monday-Friday) across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok, adapting content to each platform's style and format.

- Occasionally perform light in-person tasks, such as taking photos at specific locations for use in posts. This will only be required once in a while.

- Engage with followers through excellent communication to build community and drive awareness.


 Requirements

- A personal interest in water access causes and making an impact in society.

- Proven social media management experience.

- Creativity and graphic design skills, with proficiency in Canva (Canva Pro access provided), or a similar tool.

- Excellent written and visual communication for audience interaction.

- Basic video editing skills, for reels and similar clips.


Good to have, but not required

- An educational or professional background related to water

- A university degree
