The Role

As HR Operations Manager at Brighty, you'll be the operational backbone of our people function across 20+ countries. You'll own end-to-end HR processes — recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee lifecycle management — building scalable systems while ensuring exceptional employee experience in our fast-growing fintech.


Your Responsibilities:


Recruitment Operations

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for multiple positions simultaneously
  • Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers
  • Maintain BambooHR ATS and optimize recruitment processes
  • Track metrics and drive continuous improvement in time-to-hire and candidate experience


Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Execute seamless onboarding for new hires globally (contracts, equipment, orientation, 30-60-90 day check-ins)
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage complete offboarding process
  • Ensure day-one readiness and integration success


Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Partner with Finance team for accurate monthly payroll processing across all countries
  • Collect and verify payroll data (hours, bonuses, changes, deductions)
  • Administer benefits including health insurance, stock options, and vacation tracking
  • Manage relationships with payroll providers and EOR partners


HR Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate employee records in BambooHR
  • Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and HR documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Polish labor law (Kodeks Pracy, ZUS) and regulations in other operating countries
  • Manage work permits, visas, and GDPR compliance
  • Support audits and regulatory reporting


Employee Relations

  • Serve as first point of contact for employee HR questions
  • Support managers with performance management and conflict resolution
  • Coordinate team events, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives


HR Systems & Process Optimization

  • Own and optimize BambooHR platform
  • Build HR dashboards and reports for leadership
  • Document processes and identify automation opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR operations


We're Looking For:


Required

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field
  • 3-5 years of HR operations experience, ideally in tech/fintech/startups
  • Strong knowledge of Polish labor law and HR compliance
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruitment and payroll coordination
  • Proficiency with BambooHR (or similar HRIS) and ATS platforms
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Fluent in English and Polish (essential)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter who thrives in remote, fast-paced environments


Nice to Have

  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, CIPD, or Polish qualifications)
  • Experience in crypto/fintech industry
  • Multi-country HR operations experience
  • Knowledge of EOR solutions and equity compensation
  • Additional European languages

What Success Looks Like:

30 Days: Understand all processes, build stakeholder relationships, complete first independent onboarding

90 Days: Manage 4-6 recruitments simultaneously, achieve 100% payroll accuracy, implement 2 process improvements

6 Months: Reduce time-to-hire by 20%, achieve 95%+ payroll accuracy, support 20-30% headcount growth
