Job Description


About the Role: As a Java Developer - Japanese Bilingual, you’ll be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle — from design and coding to testing and deployment.


For foreign candidates or Filipinos relocating from abroad: Visa sponsorship will be provided.


Work Shift: Rotational Shift

Work Setup: Hybrid (either Quezon City or Cebu City).


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and implement Java-based web applications.
  • Collaborate with architects and technical leads to enhance and optimize solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues and ensure applications are reliable and maintainable.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver creative coding solutions.


Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in Java application development (J2EE, REST Web Services).
  • Hands-on experience with Vue.js, DB SQL (DB2), and web technologies (JavaScript, JSP, Angular).
  • Familiar with Spring/Spring Boot, Shell scripting, Linux/AIX, and Java APIs.
  • Fluent or knowledgeable in Japanese (spoken, written, and reading); JLPT N1–N4 certification required
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Amenable to work on a client-based schedule.
