🛡️ We’re Hiring: Cybersecurity Analyst

📍 Location: Remote (Australia)

💼 Level: Junior / Mid-Level

We’re looking for a vigilant and technically skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to protect our systems, data, and networks from threats. In this role, you’ll monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents while working closely with IT, engineering, and compliance teams in a remote-first environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyse security events and alerts from various systems
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and breaches
  • Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing
  • Maintain and update security tools, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement security controls
  • Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Document security incidents, processes, and best practices
  • Stay up to date with latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies
✅ Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or a related field (or strong relevant certifications / project experience)
  • Knowledge of network, endpoint, and application security principles
  • Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, firewalls
  • Understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident response skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to document processes clearly
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Based in Australia with full legal right to work (no visa sponsorship available)
