About The Role

The role at Turing is for experienced Full Stack Software Engineers who are passionate about building end-to-end AI-driven applications for the US market. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on backend services, web frontends, and evaluation tooling that directly contribute to frontier AI projects. As part of the team, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying production-quality features using Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks. Your work will involve designing and executing model evaluations, scoring outputs, and documenting the rationale behind AI decisions to ensure transparency and reliability. You will collaborate closely with researchers to build and maintain datasets for supervised fine-tuning (SFT) and reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), creating feedback loops that enhance model performance. This role is fully remote, offering high flexibility to work from anywhere and on your own schedule, making it ideal for engineers seeking a dynamic, impactful, and autonomous work environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and relevant experience, including proficiency in Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript. You should have a proven track record of writing clean, reusable, and well-tested code, with experience in full-stack development. Familiarity with Node.js or NestJS, coupled with a modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue, is essential. • Developing and maintaining well-structured Python and JavaScript/TypeScript codebases to support AI workflows and full-stack web applications.
• Designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive model evaluations, scoring outputs, and documenting the rationales behind AI decisions to ensure transparency.
• Building, maintaining, and improving datasets for supervised fine-tuning (SFT) and reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), establishing effective feedback loops with research teams.
