About the Opportunity:
The organization is a physical security design, consulting, and managed services firm that partners with high-profile clients to develop and implement advanced physical security solutions. The role is an entry-level Security System Designer I position focused on quality assurance and control of design packages, supporting engineers and system designers while learning all aspects of physical security design.
Responsibilities:
• Review and validate client project drawings for accuracy and ensure adherence to QC checklist items.
• Incorporate feedback from senior engineers and system designers to improve drawing sets.
• Develop drafting and modeling skills for security floor layouts, wiring diagrams, schematics, and access control board layouts under guidance.
• Support basic design tasks and prepare system drawings under general supervision.
• Maintain complete and orderly project files and documentation.
• Collaborate with the engineering and design team from project design through closeout.
• Assist with preparation and assembly of documents and packages.
Requirements:
• 1+ years of Revit experience in a professional environment required; experience in Security, Electrical, or Telecom preferred.
• Associate degree, Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Electrical Design, or relevant work experience.
• Electronic security experience with vendor-specific knowledge (Lenel, Software House CCure 9000, DMP, Milestone, etc.) is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam preferred; Navisworks and Dynamo a plus.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Tech-savvy with curiosity about new technologies and ability to apply new systems.

Additional Information:
• Must work Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm or 8 am to 5 pm PST during onboarding.
• Requires a quiet, designated workspace with high-speed internet (minimum 200Mbps download, 10Mbps upload).

• Must meet client and/or government security screening requirements.
• Verification of U.S. citizenship required as a condition of employment.
