We are looking for a rare hybrid expert. You are someone who understands that a failing cold email campaign is rarely just one thing. It could be a DMARC failure, a burnt domain, a bad lead list, or simply a weak call to action.
At Premium Inboxes, we provide the technical foundation for over 2,100 businesses. We manage hundreds of thousands of email accounts that power 1.75+ million daily sends. Our infrastructure is solid, but our clients often need guidance to unlock their full potential.
We are looking for a Cold Email Performance Specialist to act as the "Doctor" for our high-value accounts.
Your goal is simple but critical. You will diagnose why a client is not getting results and prescribe the exact fix.
When you help a client solve their deliverability or strategy bottlenecks, they succeed. When they succeed, they scale their volume and buy more infrastructure from us.

Responsibilities
Technical Diagnostics & Infrastructure
You will conduct deep-dive audits of customer accounts. This includes examining DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), Google Workspace configurations, and authentication protocols. You must be able to look at email headers and bounce codes to instantly identify if the issue is technical.
Strategic Performance Analysis
Once the technical setup is verified, you must pivot to strategy. You will analyse the "soft" factors that impact deliverability and reply rates. This includes reviewing their copy for spam triggers, checking their lead list quality, auditing their sending schedules, and even reviewing their email signatures and running deliverability tests.
Client Communication & Education
You will translate complex data into clear, actionable advice. Your primary deliverable will be Loom video analyses where you walk the client through their specific issues. You need to explain why something is broken and how to fix it without using overwhelming jargon.
Proactive Monitoring & Knowledge Sharing
You will monitor high-value accounts to catch issues before the client complains. You will also document your findings to build a library of internal playbooks and external guides, helping us solve problems at scale.
The Results We Expect
- 30 Days: You have audited our top 20 at-risk accounts and delivered video action plans for each. You have identified the most common "user errors" blocking our clients from scaling.
- 90 Days: You have established a proactive monitoring system for our largest clients. We are seeing a measurable reduction in churn among the accounts you manage.
- 6 Months: The accounts you touch are growing. We want to see an increase in LTV (Lifetime Value) because your advice gave clients the confidence to buy more inboxes and increase their volume.
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Deep Experience: You have managed or audited 500+ cold email accounts. You have seen every error code and every rookie mistake in the book.
- Technical Expertise: Expert-level understanding of email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), IP reputation, domain warming, and Google Workspace Admin Console.
- Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience with major sending platforms like Instantly, Smartlead, Bison, Apollo, or Lemlist.
- Strategic Insight: You understand that deliverability is also about human behaviour. You can spot bad copy and poor list hygiene immediately.
- Communication Skills: You are comfortable recording video audits. You can speak with authority and empathy.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in a lead generation agency.
- Experience with deliverability tools like Google Postmaster Tools.
- A background in data analysis or technical consulting.
Compensation
$72,000 – $96,000 USD / year (B2B Contract)
Final compensation will be based on your level of expertise and relevant prior experience.
