Team Manager – Advertising & Performance Marketing
Location: 100% Remote (Australia)
Type: Full-Time | Leadership Role
This is a full-time role, but you will be a contractor, you will work for your own limited company and bill the company each month.
Our client is a leading digital marketing agency specializing in performance-driven advertising and eCommerce growth strategies. They are seeking a Team Manager to lead a team of 10 and ensure exceptional client outcomes across global markets.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will combine strategic leadership, client relationship management, and technical marketing expertise. This is a senior role focused on guiding the team, managing KPIs, and maintaining strong client relationships—not day-to-day ad execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 10 media buyers and account managers.
- Develop and implement team strategies to optimize campaign performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients—manage expectations, resolve issues, and build trust.
- Review KPIs, adjust budgets, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Spend 75% of time supporting the team and 25% engaging with clients via calls and reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in account management and advertising within an agency environment or e-commerce.
- 4+ years experience with Facebook, Google, TikTok Ads and performance marketing.
- Strong understanding of ROI-focused marketing (spend $1, make $2).
- Technical expertise in Meta Ads, Google Ads, CRO, SEO, Google Analytics, and pixel tracking.
- Familiarity with Shopify, WooCommerce, and eCommerce marketing strategies.
- Previous experience managing B2B and eCommerce clients (50/50 split).
- Ability to communicate complex technical details to non-technical clients.
- Outgoing personality with strong client interaction skills—comfortable handling easy and demanding clients alike.
- Experience with attribution tools (Hyros, North Beam, Wicked Reports, Triple Whale).
