Job Description
Company: Mindline is a Seattle-area company building cloud-based tools to address enterprise security challenges. Identity Bridge is our flagship initiative, designed to enable secure cross-tenant, cross-cloud collaboration for the US Government and Enterprise sectors.
Product: See what we are building:
- Identity Bridge Open for Business
- Identity Bridge with US Gov Support
Role: We are looking for a Hands-on Frontend Developer for a stable, long-term engagement (approx. 20 hours/week).
You will work alongside the founder on a functional, complex codebase, incrementally adding enterprise features and refactoring the UI to improve stability and performance.
Crucially, we require a disciplined approach to development:
- You must be able to refactor code in safe, atomic steps without breaking the build or destabilizing the application for extended periods.
- We maintain an "always demo-ready" mindset; improvements must be integrated without taking the system down.
Location: This role is Remote. (Bonus: If you are in the Seattle area, you are welcome to use our office — complete with pool table, ping pong, foosball, and snacks — but this is not required.)
The Stack
- Core: TypeScript, React
- UI Library: KendoReact (Experience here is a huge plus)
- Identity: Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), MSAL
- Backend Integration: ASP.NET Core REST APIs, SignalR (Real-time updates)
What We Need From You
- Strong React Fundamentals: You understand hooks, component lifecycle, and state management without relying on "magic."
- TypeScript Fluency: You write clean, typed code and know how to handle API interfaces correctly.
- Backend Awareness: You are comfortable reading C# code or working closely with a .NET backend team to understand API contracts.
- Independence: Since this is a remote role, you must be self-directed and able to unblock yourself.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Frontend Development.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal).
