Primary Title: Creative Director

About The Opportunity

We operate in the public K–12 education marketing and communications sector, supporting a county-level school district that serves students, families, and community stakeholders. This remote Creative Director role will lead brand, digital, and campaign strategy to elevate district-wide communications across web, social, print, and events.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead brand strategy and creative vision for integrated communications—define creative briefs, approve designs, and ensure consistent messaging across channels.
  • Manage and mentor a distributed creative team (designers, content creators, and external agencies), driving high-quality, on-time delivery for campaigns and seasonal initiatives.
  • Oversee design and production for digital platforms (website, email, social) and print collateral—establish templates, accessibility standards, and quality controls.
  • Collaborate with communications, enrollment, and community engagement teams to translate strategic goals into measurable creative campaigns that boost awareness and participation.
  • Own creative project workflows—prioritize requests, set timelines, allocate resources, and enforce brand governance and version control.
  • Champion innovation: iterate on UX/UI direction, A/B test campaign assets, and recommend tools/processes to scale content production and measurement.
