🧪 We’re Hiring: Automation Test Engineer

📍 Location: Remote (Australia)

💼 Level: Mid-Level / Junior–Mid

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Automation Test Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining automated testing solutions to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our applications in a remote-first environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications.

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to define test strategies.

Execute automated and manual tests to identify defects and ensure product quality.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Analyze test results, report issues, and track defects through resolution.

Continuously improve test coverage, frameworks, and testing processes.

Document test cases, test plans, and automation workflows.

1–3 years of experience in software testing or test automation.

Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.

Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Fluent in English.

Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.
