About the Opportunity:
The organization is a digitally focused agency supporting the growth and launch of consumer-facing brands through integrated marketing and creative services. This role leads creative direction for paid media campaigns, managing a team of designers and editors to deliver high-performing ad assets. The position is fully remote, operates in the EST time zone, and is open to candidates in Brazil, Mexico, Portugal, and Spain.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of 2 to 4 designers focused on paid ad creative, with potential for team growth.
• Provide creative direction, feedback, and career support through regular reviews and 1:1s.
• Oversee creative quality to ensure assets align with brand identity, platform best practices, and campaign objectives.
• Collaborate with performance marketers and strategists to iterate on high-performing ad campaigns.
• Refine internal processes, establish creative standards, and lead collaborative sessions for innovation.
• Lead concept development and execution for paid media campaigns across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and display platforms.
• Translate marketing strategy and performance data into compelling ad concepts.
• Design and direct static ads, animations, mobile-first videos, and storyboards for short-form content.
• Present creative work to stakeholders and clients with strategic rationale.
• Monitor performance data to inform creative iterations and improve results.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of senior-level design experience, with at least 1 year of people management experience preferred.
• Experience designing ad creatives for paid media campaigns on Meta, TikTok, YouTube, or similar platforms.
• Digital portfolio showcasing performance-focused ad creative, including static ads, motion graphics, and short-form video.
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, composition, and platform-specific best practices.
• Ability to incorporate AI software into workflows, including tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Perplexity, and Icon.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and accountable for performance results.
• Skilled in writing briefs, incorporating feedback, and iterating based on ad performance data.
• Effective communicator in English with internal teams and clients.
• Confident in providing constructive feedback and supporting designer growth through mentorship.
• Ability to turn ambiguous campaign goals into visually engaging, conversion-focused creative concepts.
• Proficient in Figma for ad design workflows, including Auto Layout, Components, and asset handoff.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Bonus: Experience designing ads for e-commerce brands, knowledge of motion design tools (After Effects, Premiere), or working with UGC creators and editors.
