Journeyman Data / Full-Stack Engineer (TS Required)
Location: Omaha, NE (On-site)
Clearance Requirement
- Active DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance

Relocation: AvailablePosition OverviewWe are supporting a major DoD mission with a long-term, growing contract and are hiring multiple Journeyman-level Data / Full-Stack Engineers. This is a hands-on, mission-focused role working on AI/ML-enabled software and data tools used by analysts and operators to make sense of large, complex datasets.
Candidates must be comfortable working on-site in a secure environment and collaborating closely with end users.
Required Qualifications (Must-Have)Active DoD Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI strongly preferred)
U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree plus 3–5 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, or a related field
- Willing and able to work on-site in Omaha, NE
Technical Requirements:
Programming Languages:
- Strong experience with:
- Python
- JavaScript
- At least one additional programming language
Full-Stack Development:Front-end experience with:
- React or Vue
- Back-end experience with one or more of:
- Node.js
- Django
- Flask
- Spring
- Spring Boot
Additional Technical Skills:
- Experience building and maintaining production applications
- Cloud experience, preferably AWS
- Familiarity with:
- AI/ML-enabled applications or data science tooling
- REST APIs and service-oriented architectures
- PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks (e.g., SQLAlchemy)
DevSecOps:
- Exposure to:
- CI/CD pipelines
- Code scanning and security tooling
Development Methodology:
- Agile development experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop AI/ML-enabled software and supporting architectures
- Build and iterate front-end and back-end components from prototype to production
- Maintain and enhance deployed applications, including performance and security updates
- Work directly with users and requirements owners to shape capabilities
- Contribute to scalable, maintainable software designs
- Document requirements and review technical documentation
- Stay current on emerging AI/ML, cloud, and DevSecOps patterns
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Current TS/SCI
- Prior DoD or Intelligence Community experience
- Experience mentoring junior developers
- Performance optimization and profiling experience
