Job Description
We have a 12 month contract for a Senior Application Development Engineer with 4–6+ years of experience building enterprise software solutions, designing reusable APIs and FHIR-based integrations, and improving code quality standards. They are hands-on in development, strong in Go and modern software patterns, skilled in data-driven architecture, and able to deliver consistent sprint output while supporting mid-level engineers, unblocking issues, and driving high-quality, compliant payer-to-payer interoperability solutions under CMS-0057,
100% Remote.
Shift: 9-6pm EST
MUST HAVES:
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and Requires 4 – 6 years of related
- Designing systems that integrate with multiple data sources and promote FHIR communication
- Always maintain data quality and code standards(using design patterns in GO lang) and also implements monitoring and alerting for both audit and error tracking
- Designs APIs and data services that can be reused across multiple business domains (claims, eligibility, clinical).
NICE TO HAVES:
- Healthcare Experience
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) heavily preferred

The team’s work will help the organization meet federal goals for interoperability, transparency, and improved patient outcomes by making health data more accessible to members, providers, and payers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivers a significant portion of the team’s story points consistently.
- Reviews code and unblocks mid-level engineers.
- Leads technical discussions during refinement and planning sessions.
- Works with Product Owner to clarify acceptance criteria.
- Participates in retrospectives and suggests process improvements.
