Game Designer (Adult Games) - PC (Steam)

Octo Games is a Netherlands gamedev studio that develops games for PC (Steam). We are currently looking for talented Game Designer specialists to develop adult games. Our goal is to deliver an engaging and cohesive gameplay experience within deadlines by designing high-quality game levels and mechanics.

Designing and shaping the game experience to maximize player engagement, retention, and emotional immersion.

• Develop core and supporting gameplay mechanics
• Design and balance game levels based on difficulty progression and engagement
• Review and approve levels created by other designers
• Analyze level performance via A/B testing and gameplay data
• Work with the narrative designer to integrate story and gameplay meaningfully
• Ensure consistency with the visual style by collaborating with the UI artist and 3D team
• Maintain and update internal documentation and design knowledge base
• Communicate design intent clearly to developers and oversee its implementation

• Experience in creating a game concept using Adult mechanics/content.
• Fundamental understanding and professional approach to game design.
• Understanding the principles of building a user-friendly interface.
• Basic understanding of working with Unity is desirable.
• Participation in work and desire to achieve results.
• Control of the visual quality of the product.
• Supervision of development and cooperation with the Ui artist.
• Development of the game concept together with the narrator Work with the 3D department
• High-level proficiency in Russian and/or Ukrainian, both spoken and written.
