About the Opportunity:
The organization is seeking an IT Support Specialist for a fully remote, long-term project focused on customer support services such as installation, troubleshooting, user assistance, and training.
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and resolve problems in response to customer-reported incidents
• Plan and analyze work processes
• Research and report trends and patterns of problems
• Develop training materials and conduct computing/information system training sessions
• Develop and maintain problem tracking databases
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software
• Perform backup and recovery operations
• Consult with users to identify needs and requirements
• Conduct feasibility studies and trade-off analyses
• Prepare business cases
• Ensure rigorous application of information security and cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices
Requirements:
• U.S. Citizenship
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
• Active Security+ CE (or equivalent 8570 IAT Level II Certification)
• Google Cloud Platform certification (Google Associate Cloud Engineer or Google Professional Cloud Architect)
• Plus one of the following: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Cloud Operations, Red Hat Certified Engineer, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Information Technology
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) IT hosting solutions
• Experience administering Windows and Linux operating systems in large enterprise environments
• Proficiency in network fundamentals, VPNs, firewalls, and remote access solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, communicate with management, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
Compensation:
• $60,000 - $75,000
