We are looking for a passionate and data-driven Data Analyst who is open to shifting gears between Growth Analytics and Product Analytics based on business needs. You will play a critical role in optimizing marketing and product strategies by leveraging data to drive user acquisition, engagement, and in-game improvements across our gaming portfolio.


Job Summary

As a Data Analyst, you will analyze performance data across marketing channels and game systems, providing actionable insights that support both growth initiatives and product decisions. Your work will directly influence how we scale our player base and enhance player experience in a fast-moving, competitive gaming market.


Key Responsibilities


Growth Analytics (50%)

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data from digital marketing channels (social, search, ad networks, rewarded UA, in-game promotions) to assess performance and uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Data-Driven Modelling: Forecast player LTV, revenue, churn, and break-even periods.
  • Campaign Optimization: Collaborate with the UA (User Acquisition) team to design, execute, and optimize campaigns for improved ROI and engagement.
  • A/B Testing: Plan and conduct experiments on marketing creatives, channels, and audiences to identify effective growth strategies.
  • Market Research: Study industry trends, competitor strategies, and audience behavior to identify and implement growth strategies.
  • Performance Tracking: Build dashboards and automated reports that track KPIs and provide insights for stakeholders.
  • Budget Support: Assist in monitoring and optimizing marketing spend across campaigns.


Product Analytics (50%)

  • Player Behavior Insights: Analyze in-game behavioral data to identify patterns, friction points, and opportunities to improve game features and funnels.
  • Feature Impact Analysis: Measure the performance of new features, content updates, and live-ops events and suggest data-backed actions.
  • Experimentation: Design and evaluate A/B tests related to product features, retention strategies, and monetization.
  • Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure data is central to product decision-making.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Core Skills: Proficiency with analytics and BI tools such as SQL, BigQuery, Python, Excel and Looker Studio.
  • Nice to Have: Experience working with digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Unity, AppLovin, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.).
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to draw clear insights from large datasets.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and technology-driven environment.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present insights to technical and non-technical teams.
  • Soft Skills: A proactive, hands-on attitude with strong collaboration skills. Creative thinking and the ability to build differentiated analytical solutions in a competitive industry.
  • Industry Passion: A passion for gaming and an understanding of player behavior and emerging industry trends.
