As a Full Stack Developer (f/m/d), you will use and expand your skills in developing web and server applications, with an emphasis on backend development. As an integral part of the dedicated web platform team, you will be involved in the entire development process, from analysis and design to implementation, testing, and ongoing operation of our smart home products. You’ll be contributing to projects involving communication with embedded devices, building distributed server architectures, and designing modern single-page applications. This will give you the chance to actively shape the future of Nuki.

Your Role

• You apply agile methods when developing innovative software solutions.
• You implement secure, high-performance server applications (Java & SpringBoot), focusing on stability and scalability.
• You optimize application code and address bottlenecks and resource utilization.
• You support the release process using Kubernetes, Git and Azure DevOps.
• You actively assist the team throughout the software development process —from requirements analysis to release, ensuring smooth collaboration.
• You facilitate open communication with internal stakeholders, especially infrastructure specialists.
• You participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines.
• You develop and implement features in our frontend Nuki Web using Typescript and Angular.

Job Requirements

• You bring at least five years of experience in designing & implementing Java server applications and ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• You have completed a higher technical education (Technical College/Technical University/University of Applied Sciences) in computer science/software development.
• You have experience with standard web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• You have practical experience with Java Dependency Injection, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Kafka, multi-threading, and designing REST APIs, as well as knowledge of using Angular 10+ and TypeScript.
• Maintaining clean code is an integral part of your programming culture.
• You have experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• You are familiar with agile development processes.
• You focus on what is possible, take ownership, and go the extra mile.

For the advertised position, a minimum salary of € 3,843 gross per month applies according to the collective agreement (no all-in). Willingness to significantly overpay if you have the appropriate qualifications. This position is open for applications in Graz.#
