Job Description

Link Solutions is seeking a Communications Team Lead to join our team at Patuxent River, MD.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen 
  • DoD Secret Clearance required
  • Non-remote (relocation incentive available)

Our Communications Team Lead will serve as the lead for the Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) communication systems, including Digital Signage (Symon) and Automated Call Distribution (ACD/Genesys). You will be responsible for maintaining our team’s ability to respond to issues efficiently and to quickly resolve internal issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, configuration, administration, and sustainment of communication platforms to ensure 24x7x365 availability.
  • Manage system performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting for call routing, VoIP, SIP trunking, PRI lines, and digital display networks.
  • Ensure system security compliance with DoD STIGs, IAVAs, NMCI, and Cybersecurity directives.
  • Coordinate after-hours and weekend support for system upgrades, patches, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager and other technical leads to ensure integration of communication systems with ITSM tools and enterprise services.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, maintenance activities, and operational instructions.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
  • Must have at least ten (10+) years of experience with call center systems (Genesys/ACD) and digital signage administration.
  • Must have an Operating System environment certification (e.g., Win10, Win11, MS Server).
  • Must have a BA/BS in Computer Sciences or Information Technology, or related fields.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures.
  • Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
  • A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
  • Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000

Several factors influence the final salary or hourly rate, including but not limited to contract wage determinations, relevant work experience, role-specific skills and competencies, geographic location, educational background, certifications, and federal government contract labor categories.

Additional Information

This position is contingent upon the successful acquisition of the government contract and the completion of ongoing negotiations. We anticipate these processes will be completed by June 2026, at which time interviews and offers will be extended upon successful contract award.
