Job Description

🧰 Who We Are

Wakam is a B2B2C digital insurer building white-label and embedded insurance solutions for 80+ partners across Europe. Active in 32 countries, we power innovative insurance experiences through APIs, data, and automation.

We're also a mission-driven company, committed to "enabling transparent and impactful insurance". AI is a core strategic lever in that mission — not a side project.

🎯 Your Mission:

At Wakam, AI is a strategic lever for scalability and operational excellence. We are looking for an AI Change Manager to orchestrate this shift across the entire organization.

Reporting hierarchically to HR and functionally to the CTO, you hold a pivotal "double-agent" position. You are responsible for the Macro Vision (how AI reshapes our jobs, skills, and processes end-to-end) while maintaining a Hands-on capability (deploying tools, prototyping, and driving daily adoption).

You are the architect of the "Augmented Wakamee" ensuring our workforce evolves in sync with the technology built and provided by our AI Engineering team.

📋Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision & Workforce Transformation (The Macro View)

You provide the compass for Wakam's AI journey, ensuring we anticipate changes rather than reacting to them.

  • Skills Mapping & Gap Analysis: You map the current skills landscape and identify the "AI Gap." You predict which roles will evolve, which new skills are required, and build the transformation plan to bridge the divide.
  • Process Re-engineering (End-to-End): You don't just automate tasks; you rethink entire value chains (e.g., from Policy binding to Claims management). You identify high-value/low-efficiency processes that are ripe for deep AI transformation.
  • Transformation Roadmap: You co-construct the global AI Roadmap. You prioritize initiatives based on strategic impact (ROI, Scalability) and align the HR agenda (training, hiring) with the Tech delivery schedule.
  • Operational Activation & "Maker" Capability (The Hands-on View)

You ensure the strategy survives contact with reality. You act as an extension of the AI Engineering team to deliver value.

  • Prototyping & Configuration: You are autonomous in configuring AI agents (e.g., on Dust) to test hypotheses. You validate the feasibility of a use-case before it enters the engineering backlog.
  • Deployment & Adoption: You lead the rollout of new tools. You organize the "last mile" delivery, ensuring teams not only have access to the tools but actually use them to change their daily work.
  • Feedback Loop: You are part of the interface between Business and Tech. You translate user feedback into actionable insights for the AI Engineers (identifying model limitations vs. UX issues).
  • Culture & Empowerment
  • AI Acculturation: You demystify AI for the entire company. You design the learning path that moves employees from "Curious" to "Power Users."
  • Change Methodology: You implement a structured framework to measure the "health" of our transformation (Usage KPIs, Skills acquisition rates, Process efficiency gains).

🤖 Your Profile

We are looking for a System Thinker with a Maker Mindset. You need to be able to present a strategic plan to the ComEx in the morning and debug a prompt with an Underwriter in the afternoon.

Experience:

  • 5-8 years of experience combining Strategic Consulting / Organization Design with Product or Project implementation.
  • Proven experience in mapping business processes and redesigning workflows.

Hard Skills:

  • Strategic Planning: Ability to audit an organization, map skills, and design long-term transformation plans.
  • AI & Tech Literacy (Must Have): You understand how GenAI works under the hood (LLMs, RAG, Agents). You are comfortable manipulating tools, configuring environments, and diving into the logic of a product. The Wakam Engineering Team will onboard you on our tools.
  • Analytical Mindset: You can quantify the qualitative. You know how to build a business case and measure ROI.

Soft Skills:

  • Diplomat & Driver: You can navigate between HR constraints, Tech realities, and Business pressure.
  • Pedagogue: You can explain the "Big Picture" to align teams and the "Small Details" to unblock users.
  • Autonomy: You don't wait for permission to fix a problem or propose a new direction.

🚀Why this role is unique?

  • Strategic & Operational: You won't just draw the map; you will drive the car.
  • High Visibility: You report to two key C-levels (CPO & CTO), placing you at the heart of Wakam's decision-making engine.
  • Future-Proof: You are defining the playbook for how companies will operate in the AI era.

📋 Hiring Process

A fast, 4-step process designed to give you clarity and connection:

  • 🗣️ HR Interview (30 min) with our Talent Acquisition Partner
  • 🤖 Technical Interview (1h30) with our CTO & VP People
  • 👥 HR BP Interview (45 min) with our People Lead Partner
  • ✅ Executive Interview (30 min) with our CEO FR & CEO UK

Timeline: 3 weeks total

We can't wait to build the future with you. 🙌
