About the Role
This organization is building AI Digital Workers for financial crime and compliance teams, helping banks and fintech companies automate investigations, alert reviews, and generate audit-ready reporting.
This is a core product engineering role where the Staff Engineer will work directly with the founding team, own major product components end-to-end, and ship features straight to production. The role is ideal for engineers who thrive in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments and are excited about AI-driven systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and ship new product features daily using Python
• Develop AI agents that interact with customers and financial data
• Integrate with third-party data providers and internal systems
• Own product features end-to-end from design to production
• Make fast architectural and product decisions
• Collaborate closely with founders and a small engineering team
• Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
Requirements (Must-Haves)
• Exceptional proficiency in full-stack product engineering
• Strong experience building and shipping production-ready systems
• Hands-on experience or deep interest in LLMs and AI systems
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship available for exceptional candidates)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Fintech, Compliance, or Financial Services
• Early-stage startup or zero-to-one product experience
• Familiarity with AI/ML-driven workflows
• Strong system design and architecture skills
