About the Role
Develop Health is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design and ship the systems and interfaces that power its AI-driven healthcare platform. The role spans backend APIs, frontend product experiences, and integrations with AI and LLM systems.
You will collaborate closely with AI and Product teams, own major product surfaces end-to-end, and work on-site in Menlo Park at least three days per week.
Responsibilities / What You’ll Do
- Build and scale Python-based backend systems and APIs for AI-driven healthcare automation
- Develop frontend experiences using React and TypeScript for clinicians and operations teams
- Integrate and orchestrate LLM services in production environments
- Collaborate with AI and Product teams to refine workflows and translate feedback into improvements
- Own architectural, scalability, and developer-experience decisions
- Improve observability, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
Long-Term Ownership
- Lead development of new AI-powered product features
- Scale the full-stack architecture to support significant transaction growth and real-time analytics
- Shape data and API layers for internal analytics and external integrations
- Mentor engineers and help build engineering culture
- Improve frontend performance and developer tooling
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building and shipping production full-stack software
- Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and React
- Experience building APIs and scalable backend services
- Strong product intuition and attention to detail
- Ownership-driven, self-directed working style
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Availability to work on-site in Menlo Park at least three days per week
Bonus Points
- Experience building AI-powered or automation-heavy products
- Exposure to health-tech or clinical data systems
- Startup or early-stage experience
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps tooling
