SEO Strategist

One Firefly is seeking a skilled, client-facing SEO Strategist to join our dynamic team!

As our newest SEO Strategist, you’ll shape the online presence of a dedicated portfolio of clients. Reporting to the SEO Team Lead, you’ll lead the delivery of our SEO services — owning all client communication and strategic execution. You’ll provide expert insights, guide monthly touchpoints, and ensure long-term success through data-driven SEO strategies.

You’ll serve as the main SEO contact for both clients and internal teams — collaborating with analysts, project managers, designers, and account managers to align strategy with execution. This role is perfect for someone who can confidently lead across all four pillars of SEO (local, technical, on-site, off-site), translate data into compelling stories, and leverage tools like GA4, GSC, and AI to drive performance. You should be comfortable on camera, proactive in communication, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Note: This is a full-time, remote-based (work from home) position; candidates who apply should be comfortable working from home and have access to reliable high-speed internet.

What you’ll do:

• Lead SEO strategy for a portfolio of clients across local, technical, on-site, and off-site SEO
• Own client communication through monthly updates, calls, and Loom videos
• Review and finalize SEO reports prepared by analysts and present to clients with clear insights and recommendations
• Build and manage SEO content development and optimization calendars aligned to client goals and performance data
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely, aligned execution
• Analyze data using tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Trends, SEMrush and Moz.
• Demonstrate effective use of AI tools like ChatGPT to elevate work quality, refine messaging, and enhance productivity

What You’ll Bring: 

• 5+ years of SEO experience with a focus on local SEO and client-facing work
• Strong communication skills with comfort on video and in virtual meetings
• Proficiency in GA4, GSC, SEMrush, MarketMuse, Moz, ChatGPT, and Agency Analytics
• Experience managing multiple clients, deadlines, and content calendars
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and effective in a remote team environment
• Curious mindset with a passion for learning and solving SEO challenges
