Primary Title: HR Team Lead (Consultancy)

About The Opportunity

A fast-paced recruitment & HR consultancy serving technology, SaaS and enterprise clients across India. We deliver end-to-end talent acquisition, account-based hiring, and talent operations services to high-growth and midsize businesses. This remote role is focused on leading a small consultancy recruitment team, owning delivery, quality and client relationships.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a remote recruitment team of consultants—own day-to-day delivery, workload allocation and quality assurance for assigned client accounts.
  • Manage end-to-end hiring operations: candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management and onboarding handovers while ensuring SLA adherence.
  • Drive proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search and talent pipelining to fill technical and non-technical roles efficiently.
  • Be primary client point-of-contact for hiring managers: set hiring priorities, communicate status, manage expectations and resolve escalations.
  • Track and optimise recruitment KPIs—time-to-fill, submission-to-interview ratios, quality-of-hire and consultant productivity—through regular reporting and process improvements.
  • Build repeatable playbooks: interview scorecards, screening templates, offer negotiation guidelines and ATS hygiene standards to increase scalability.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Proven experience in a recruitment consultancy or RPO environment with hands-on delivery responsibility.
  • Prior experience managing or leading a small recruitment team and driving measurable hiring outcomes.
  • Strong operational familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and ensuring ATS hygiene and workflows.
  • Demonstrable sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search and passive candidate engagement.
  • Comfortable owning client communications, stakeholder management and escalation handling.
  • Data-driven approach to recruitment: experience tracking recruitment metrics and producing regular status reports.

Preferred

  • Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday, BambooHR or similar) or advanced spreadsheet-based reporting.
  • Exposure to technical hiring for SaaS/engineering roles or hiring at scale across distributed locations.
  • Prior experience in remote-first teams and familiarity with asynchronous collaboration tools (Slack, MS Teams, Zoom).
