BCForward is currently seeking a highly motivated Data Pipeline Engineer for a fully Remote role


Position Title: Data Pipeline Engineer (Azure / Databricks)

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: 01/05/2026


Note: This engagement requires candidates to be on our W2 payroll (no C2C or 1099).


Expected Duration: 1+ Year

Job Type: Contract – Remote


We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer with strong experience integrating SAP BW data into Azure analytics platforms. The role focuses on data modeling, ETL development, and building scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics (SQL pools, Synapse Studio, pipelines)
  • Strong hands-on Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Data modeling experience
  • Good understanding of SAP BW, including: InfoCubes, DSOs, CompositeProviders, Open Hub, ODP, BW Queries,
  • Experience working with SAP data (Supply Chain / Operations)
  • Strong SQL skills
  • ETL experience using ADF, SAP Data Services, or connectors like Theobald Xtract / SAP SDI
  • Python experience (ML is a plus)
