About the Opportunity:
The organization is a healthcare advocacy marketplace that connects patients and families to experts who help them understand and manage their personal health. This opportunity is for a Technical Sourcer responsible for sourcing, identifying, and engaging technical talent across Software Engineering, Data Engineering/Analytics, and Security, supporting the team’s engineering hiring efforts.
Responsibilities:
• Source, identify, and engage technical talent in Software Engineering, Data, and Security.
• Build and maintain pipelines for multiple engineering searches with defined headcount targets.
• Run structured first-round recruiter screens to assess motivation, technical fit, and values alignment.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and refine sourcing strategies.
• Develop creative sourcing approaches using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Slack communities, technical forums, and nontraditional channels.
• Maintain organized candidate pipelines in the ATS (Ashby), ensuring timely communication and accurate tracking.
• Deliver concise candidate summaries and insights to inform hiring decisions.
• Experiment with outreach strategies to improve candidate response rates and quality.
• Build relationships with high-potential candidates for future hiring needs.
Requirements:
• 2-5 years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience, preferably in a high-growth or early-stage startup.
• Proven record of sourcing engineering talent in at least one domain: Software, Data, or Security.
• Skilled in creative search techniques, Boolean logic, and use of sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Ability to conduct structured and professional first-round screens.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple pipelines.
• Proactive problem solver with a sense of urgency and ownership.
• Collaborative and able to work closely with hiring managers to understand technical roles.
• Passion for sourcing and building strong talent pipelines.
• Applicants must be based in the United States.
