About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Web Designer to lead the full website build-out for our B2B client in the manufacturing industry. This contract position offers the opportunity to work remotely, collaborating closely with the Director of Marketing and the Project Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in WordPress, with an eye for industrial and corporate aesthetics, and the ability to deliver a polished, professional website within a tight 3-4 week timeline. Your primary responsibility will be to translate brand requirements into a fully functional website that is both visually appealing and user-friendly, effectively showcasing the client’s services and regional information.
Qualifications
- Proven experience designing and developing custom B2B websites using WordPress.
- Portfolio showcasing previous work, particularly in industrial, service-based, or corporate website design.
- Strong understanding of website structure, layout, and user experience best practices.
- Ability to set up and customize contact forms for lead generation and inquiries.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively during EST hours.
- Technical proficiency in ensuring website responsiveness across devices and platforms.
- Experience working within tight deadlines and managing multiple project components.
- Build a custom WordPress website adhering to the client’s brand guidelines, including logo, colors, and fonts.
- Design and implement a clear navigation structure, including key pages such as Home, About Us, Services, and Contact.
- Organize and present service descriptions (Mining, Trucking, Heavy Equipment, Rail) and regional information (Idaho & Nevada) in an accessible layout.
- Integrate contact forms to facilitate lead generation and general inquiries, ensuring they are accessible and user-friendly.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and Director of Marketing to gather feedback, make revisions, and secure approvals throughout the development process.
- Ensure the website is mobile responsive and optimized for performance across all devices.
- Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and timelines.
