The Role
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for defining and executing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to deliver innovative solutions aligned with customer needs and market trends. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams-engineering, design, marketing, and sales-to ensure alignment on product goals and priorities. Key duties include conducting market research, managing product requirements, and maintaining prioritized backlogs. You will work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive user experiences, track success through OKRs and KPIs, and communicate updates to stakeholders. Additionally, the role oversees product launches, develops go-to-market strategies, evaluates post-launch performance, and drives continuous improvement based on user feedback and industry insights.
What You'll Do
Contribute to the definition of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on customer needs and market trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure product goals and priorities alignment.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and potential threats.
Develop and manage product requirements, including user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
Create and maintain product backlogs and prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
Work closely with UX/UI designers to develop intuitive and compelling user interfaces.
Define and track key metrics using OKRs and KPIs to measure product success and inform future decisions.
Communicate product updates, progress, and plans to stakeholders across the organization, including executives, customers, and partners.
Manage product launches, including developing go-to-market strategies and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
Conduct post-launch analysis to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement.
Continuously iterate and improve the product based on user feedback, market trends, and business goals.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Proven ability to define product strategy and drive cross-functional execution.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; adept at influencing technical and business stakeholders.
- Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with executive leadership and functional teams to drive innovation and adoption.
- Master's degree in a relevant field (MBA, Computer Science, AI, or related discipline).
- Background in automotive, manufacturing, or large-scale industrial software environments.
Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of the California Bay Area.
- The salary range for this role is $103,000 to $186,200. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
- Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
