Role: Front-End Web Developer (Intermediate)
Contract: 6 months
Location: Fully Remote (U.S.-based candidates only)
Overview:
We are seeking an Intermediate Front-End Web Developer to design and develop high-quality websites, interactive experiences, and digital learning assets across moderately complex projects. This role focuses on building clean, maintainable client-side code and collaborating closely with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver engaging user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain responsive websites and interactive web assets
- Write clean, maintainable code using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Integrate and consume data using JSON
- Utilize Git for version control and adhere to development standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex (Tier 3) front-end issues
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers throughout the development lifecycle
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience developing and supporting custom enterprise web solutions
- Advanced experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and DHTML
- Hands-on experience with Git version control systems
- Strong understanding of web design, layout, and code maintainability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must reside in the United States
Preferred Experience:
- JSON and DOM manipulation
- Cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility
- IDEs/editors such as WebStorm, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Sublime Text, or similar
- AJAX, XML
- Modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
