About the role
You will join a small, elite Automation Squad reporting directly to the CTO.
Your work will focus on building AI-driven agents, automation pipelines, orchestration tools, and back-office automations that streamline internal workflows across HR, Finance, Operations, and Compliance.
This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, high ownership, and the ability to move quickly in a startup environment.
What You’ll Do
AI Agents & Internal Tools
- Build LLM driven agents that execute end to end workflows
- Develop internal chat interfaces for interacting with agentsImplement context management, retrieval, workflow memory, and multi step agent logic
Automation Pipelines
- Build workflow automations in n8n and Make.com
- Develop custom nodes using Python and TypeScript
- Integrate internal and external SaaS tools
- Create reliable pipelines for approvals, reporting, reconciliation, onboarding, and offboarding
AI Orchestration
- Perform high quality prompt engineering
- Implement tool calling and multi agent orchestration
- (Optional) work with fine tuning methods such as LoRA or QLoRA
- Ensure strong error handling and reliability across agent behaviors
Back Office Automation
Automate workflows in partnership with HR, Finance, Operations, and Compliance, including:
- HR onboarding and offboarding
- Payroll and compensation processes
- Procurement and approvals routing
- Data reconciliation
- Compliance operations
- Internal documentation and information flows
What You Bring
- 2–4 years of experience in high growth startups
- Degree from top Indian universities (IIT, IIIT, NIT, BITS, VIT, etc.)
- Strong coding skills in Python and TypeScript
- Experience with n8n, Make.com, Workato, Airflow, or similar automation tools
- Ability to build custom connectors and microservices
- Strong prompt engineering skills
- Ability to break down operational workflows into structured automations
- High ownership, autonomy, and execution speed
Nice to Have
- Experience with Vertex AI
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or DSPy
- Experience with model fine-tuning
- HR or Finance process automation experience
- Experience building internal bots or agent systems
