We are looking for a driven Marketing Coordinator, with experience in social media, customer success, video editing, and event planning. YETTER Tax is a boutique sales tax consulting firm supporting businesses across various industries. The Sales Tax Institute is a division of the company and is a leading provider of sales tax education. This fast-paced company with 50-75 active clients and a key focus on sales tax education is dynamic and is experiencing growth. Our virtual team operates from home offices throughout the US and enjoys face-to-face team building activities a few times a year. Our clients’ industries vary and include e-commerce, publishing, environmental services, software/computer services, professional services, manufacturing, and construction. Our projects include nexus studies, sales tax risk and liability analyses, voluntary disclosures, registrations, audit defense, research, planning, tax technology implementations and supporting fast growing e-commerce businesses with almost all their sales tax needs. What don’t we do? Recurring Compliance! For that work we partner with other providers to ensure our clients are well supported, automate their compliance process, or train them.  No prior sales tax experience is required.

Purpose of Role:  


This is a full-time remote role based in the United States for a Marketing Coordinator. The Marketing Coordinator will support marketing campaigns, coordinate events, assist in sales initiatives, and handle project management tasks. Responsibilities include developing effective communication campaigns, creating marketing materials, graphic design and video editing, engaging through company social media accounts, assist in executing events, and collaborating with team members to ensure project success. Additionally, the role involves fostering client/student/partner relationships and contributing to the company’s overall growth. This is an exempt position.  

  • Social media planning, writing, image creation, posting, and upkeep for Sales Tax Institute and YETTER pages  
  • Social media metrics record keeping and data analysis, incorporating findings into future content  
  • Monitoring and fostering discussion in online membership platform Sales Tax Nerd Community  
  • Graphic design-developing visual campaigns, creating social images, online banner ads, and print materials in support of live classes, online courses, and membership platform  
  • Adhere to brand standards including visual style guides and copywriting rules to express the company's three distinct brands  

  


Essential Job Responsibilities (approximate % of time):  


40% Social Media Management 


  • Manage and monitor the company’s social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with the online community.  
  • Analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize strategies based on performance data.  

  

30% Content Creation and Management 


  • Develop engaging, audience-focused content for social media platforms, email newsletters, and blog posts.  
  • Create digital content (graphics, videos, social media clips) to promote courses, events, and brand-value messaging.  
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevancy in all content.  
  • Maintain content trackers and calendars. 

 

20% Communications and Special Projects:   

  • Design and execute marketing communication campaigns to drive lead generation and follow-up, event registrations, and client/student engagement.   
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain and improve website content, usability, and conversion.  
  • Implement basic SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, optimize social posts, and improve search rankings and AI-generated responses.  
  • Moderate online events such as webinars, virtual meetings, and trainings, while ensuring all attendees have the correct materials needed. 
  • Assist at on-site events including Sales Tax Institute events and external trade shows helping with social media, booth support and administrative activities. 

  

10% Data Analytics, Tracking, and Reporting:   


  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and CRM data.  
  • Provide regular performance insights and recommendations for improving strategies.  

  


Required Qualifications:  


  • Strong Communication and writing skills to craft engaging materials and convey ideas effectively 
  • Event Planning abilities that drive marketing initiatives and coordinate successful events 
  • Project Management skills to organize and execute tasks efficiently and meet deadlines 
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and technologies such as Adobe Creative Suite, marketing automation software, Google Analytics, and social media insights with a focus on LinkedIn 
  • Excellent organizational and collaboration skills 
  • Interest in tax or finance industries is preferred 
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required

Benefits:

Business equipment, including a computer with needed accessories and a cell phone, is provided. Salary range is $55,000 to $60,000 based on experience.
