Creative Director

Location: Milwaukee, WI — Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday–Thursday strongly preferred)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $170,000–$240,000 base + ~15% bonus + profit sharing (3–8% historical avg) + employee ownership (401(k)/ESOP-style)

Role Overview

The Creative Director will lead the next phase of the company’s brand and creative evolution. This highly visible leadership role owns end-to-end creative strategy and execution across brand, campaigns, content, events, sales enablement, and digital experiences for three solution groups.


Reporting to senior executive leadership, you will lead a multidisciplinary creative team and partner closely with marketing, product, and sales leaders to translate complex healthcare and technology concepts into clear, compelling stories. This role is ideal for a hands-on creative leader who can define brand vision, elevate execution, and build scalable systems that enable speed, consistency, and impact.


Key Responsibilities

Brand & Creative Leadership

  • Own and evolve brand direction and standards across solution groups and product lines
  • Develop integrated creative platforms and campaigns that clearly articulate value and differentiation
  • Translate business strategy and customer insights into compelling creative briefs and concepts
  • Ensure consistency while modernizing the visual and verbal brand expression
  • Align creative strategy with business objectives and KPIs

Campaigns, Content & Experiences

  • Lead multi-channel campaigns across web, email, social, video, print, events, and sales enablement
  • Simplify complex healthcare, technology, and data concepts into human-centered B2B storytelling
  • Own creative strategy for key events, conferences, and internal moments
  • Direct creation of high-impact content, from presentations and headlines to brand films and videos
  • Partner with demand generation and digital teams to optimize creative for performance

Team Leadership & Creative Operations

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing creative team
  • Establish clear goals, feedback loops, and high standards of craft and accountability
  • Manage intake, prioritization, and workflows in a matrixed environment
  • Build scalable processes, templates, and playbooks to increase efficiency and quality
  • Manage agency, freelancer, and production partner relationships

AI, Tools & Data-Driven Creativity

  • Lead with an AI-first mindset to accelerate concepting, production, and testing
  • Evaluate and adopt modern creative and collaboration tools
  • Use performance data and insights to refine creative direction and demonstrate impact
  • Educate stakeholders on emerging creative technologies and best practices

Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships with executives and cross-functional leaders
  • Influence alignment around creative strategies that drive measurable business results
  • Champion the brand, customer experience, and the value of strong storytelling

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of progressive creative leadership experience
  • Proven success leading integrated campaigns and managing creative teams
  • Strong B2B background with complex solution selling
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and web platforms
  • Hands-on experience with AI-enabled creative workflows
  • Ability to travel up to ~10%

Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare, senior living, health tech, or regulated industries
  • E-commerce or digital product experience in a B2B context
  • Exposure to UX, product marketing, or agile environments
