Job Description

TL;DR: We're hiring on behalf of a mission-driven educational products company ($5M revenue, 50% YoY growth) that needs a senior Amazon expert to holistically manage their Amazon sales channel – from PPC and listing optimisation to international expansion and B2B development.

Role type: Fully remote, 6:30pm – 3:30am IST

What you'll do

  • Strategic architect: Collaborate with the in-house design team on listing optimisation, conduct SEO research, analyse competitors, and identify growth opportunities. You're not just executing – you're shaping the roadmap for a $5M+ account.

  • Campaign commander: Own the day-to-day management of 100+ campaigns across 100+ SKUs. This means monitoring performance throughout the day and making real-time bid adjustments when spending patterns shift. You've got the autonomy to act fast when you spot something off.

  • Performance translator: Turn data into insights that help the founders understand what's working and where to invest next. Your reports drive real business decisions.

  • Problem solver extraordinaire: Tackle the messy realities of Amazon – copycats trying to steal listings, campaigns that suddenly stop performing, and figuring out how to break into new markets like Mexico and Canada.

  • Cross-functional collaborator: Work directly with founders as well as the operations and design team to shape and grow the company’s primary sales channel – Amazon.

Who we're looking for

Someone with a minimum of 5+ years of experience who has the following skills and traits:

  • Amazon generalist, not specialist: You've managed $5M+ accounts in the U.S. market and understand that holistic Amazon management means more than just PPC. You know your way around listing optimisation, SEO and international expansion. If you've worked at an agency managing multiple accounts or led Amazon for a scaling brand, you'll feel right at home.

  • Automation thinker: You're naturally data-savvy and think in terms of systems and efficiency. When you see a repetitive task, your instinct is to automate or delegate it.

  • Real-time operator: You can monitor campaign performance as the market shifts throughout the day and make smart adjustments on the fly. This isn't a set-it-and-forget-it role – you're watching what's happening and responding accordingly.

  • Strong work ethic: The founders are transparent that they're demanding and expect punctuality and follow-through. You're someone who shows up, does what you say you'll do, and doesn't need hand-holding.

  • Battle-tested problem solver: You've dealt with the chaos of Amazon before – whether that's copycats, campaigns that tank overnight, or launching in new markets. You don't just execute tasks; you come to the table with ideas and solutions based on what you've seen work.

Bonus points if you have

  • Growth mindset and understanding that as the account scales, your role should evolve too – building systems, delegating, or taking on new markets
  • Track record of successfully launching products in international Amazon marketplaces
  • Genuine interest in education and getting quality learning materials into kids' hands

Application process

  • Discovery call – to understand your experience and motivations
  • Technical assessment & discussion – to evaluate your Amazon expertise
  • Final interview with client
