Are you a detail-driven construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment? We are seeking a Bid Manager to oversee the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification to final submission, for a growing national telecommunications infrastructure company.


About the Role

As Bid Manager, you will be the central point of contact for bid planning, strategy, and execution. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to develop complete, compliant, and competitive bid packages across telecom infrastructure projects such as OSP, FTTH, DAS, Wireless, Small Cell, EV Charging, and Generators.


Key Responsibilities

  • Bid Planning and Strategy: Lead bid development processes and ensure submissions are aligned with business goals and client expectations.
  • RFP Development: Partner with PMO and technical teams to provide construction insights for company-wide or divisional RFPs.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with sales, engineering, vendors, and clients to compile accurate and competitive bid packages.
  • Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure all bids meet client specifications, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Post-Bid Activities: Support awarded projects by aligning costs, vendor strategy, and timelines to ensure profitability and project success.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (PMP or CCM a plus).
  • Experience: 7–10 years in telecom or infrastructure construction, with proven expertise in bid management, estimating, or project planning.


Skills:

  • Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure construction methods.
  • Ability to interpret specs, engineering documents, construction drawings, and RF data sheets.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and related tools.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
