Qlik BI Architect & Analyst (Remote – Full Time, Permanent)

Are you a Qlik expert with a passion for turning complex data into meaningful insight that shapes real business decisions? At AYMES, we’re looking for a Qlik BI Architect & Analyst to lead the evolution of our Business Intelligence capability and become the go-to authority for insight across the organisation.

This is a senior, hands-on role where strategy meets delivery — ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable BI solutions while influencing decision-making at every level.

About the Role

You’ll sit at the heart of our Business Intelligence function, working cross-functionally to deliver trusted insights, automate reporting, and create a true “single source of truth” across the business.

You’ll help define and deliver our BI strategy, oversee Qlik as our core analytics platform, and support the future rollout of advanced and predictive analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop Qlik-based BI solutions, unlocking value from multiple data sources
• Drive the BI & Analytics strategy, balancing day-to-day delivery with long-term vision
• Build a Business Intelligence Centre of Excellence
• Lead insight generation that informs commercial and strategic decision-making
• Partner with teams across the business to understand needs and deliver impactful insight
• Standardise reporting and analytics for consistency and usability
• Produce and present monthly/quarterly insight debriefs for varied audiences
• Act as a champion for the Voice of the Customer
• Ensure GDPR, ISO27000, FOI and Cyber Security compliance across all BI platforms
• Provide guidance on systems including Qlik, Salesforce, SAP Business One, Pardot and others
• Stay ahead of emerging analytics tools and best practices

About You

You’re a highly commercial marketer who understands how to influence complex buying groups and drive tangible results.

Essential experience & skills:

• Proven experience as a BI Architect / Senior BI Analyst
• Expert-level Qlik knowledge (Qlik certification preferred)
• Strong SQL/MySQL skills and advanced Excel (including VBA)
• Experience with data visualisation tools (Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Ability to analyse, interpret and communicate complex datasets clearly
• Experience working with imperfect or large-scale datasets
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and make decisions with confidence

Desirable:

• Experience with predictive analytics, forecasting, segmentation or clustering
• Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems (Salesforce, SAP Business One)
• Experience with statistical tools (R, SAS, SPSS)
• Postgraduate qualification or evidence of continuous professional development
