Thrive Financial, Inc. is a fast-growing, pre-Series A fintech that partners with banks to originate consumer installment loans. We combine technology, strong compliance, and thoughtful product design to deliver responsible lending solutions nationwide.
Thrive Financial is looking for a Senior Product Manager to partner with our business stakeholders and two engineering teams! At our early stage company, you’ll report to our Head of Product and will play an integral part in ensuring the stability and future growth of our business by ensuring we build the right things at the right time.
You have the right background if you:
- Have worked as a product owner for fintech company for 3+ years
- Have at least 5 years experience working as a product owner
- Have worked for a Series B or earlier company

- Fulfill the “product owner” role across our two engineering teams focused across “Capital Markets” and “Borrowers & Merchants”
- Deeply understand how our business works and will work in the future
- Forge trust with our stakeholders in all business functions & understand their needs
- Lead discoveries and discussions with stakeholders, clients, and partners to understand & document requirements
- Project manage our large scale integrations ensuring all parties are informed on timeline. Ensure tasks and dependencies are clear.
- Communicate commitments & delivery timelines with the business
- Manage the team towards achieving sprint commitments
- Write user stories, tasks, and bugs with clarity & proficiency
- Lead refinements with engineering and ensure they have clarity on the problems we need to solve
- Collaborate with engineering on solutions to problems, relying on your ability to understand and discuss technical concepts
- Test and accept work before it is deployed to production
- Look for opportunities for to improve team process & own those
- Keep track of our roadmap & contribute to its prioritization in partnership with leadership
- Monitor our web application usage for insight & propose improvements
