Vice President, Human Resources

Location: South Florida (Onsite Executive Leadership Role)

Relocation Assistance: Available

Work Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Travel: Up to 50% (regional site visits)

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

Team Leadership: Enterprise HR functions including Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Total Rewards, HRIS, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, and People Analytics

Compensation: Competitive executive base salary with performance-based incentive (DOE)


The Opportunity

A rapidly growing, private equity–backed operating platform is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to lead enterprise people strategy across a complex, multi-site organization.

This role is a critical member of the executive leadership team and partners directly with the CEO to build scalable people infrastructure, support continued acquisitions, and align culture, leadership, and performance as the business enters its next stage of growth.

The organization is transitioning from a legacy operating model into a modern, data-driven enterprise with significant investment in systems, leadership, and long-term value creation.


Role Overview

The Vice President of Human Resources will lead all aspects of HR strategy and execution, including talent acquisition, leadership development, HR operations, compensation and incentives, HR systems, employee experience, and people analytics.

This executive will design and implement systems and processes that enable consistency, accountability, and predictable performance across geographically dispersed operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide HR strategy aligned with business growth, operational execution, and cultural consistency
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on organizational design and leadership effectiveness
  • Lead people-related M&A activity, including due diligence, integration planning, and post-merger execution
  • Oversee HR infrastructure including HRIS, payroll, benefits, compliance, and analytics
  • Build scalable workforce planning and hiring strategies across multiple operating locations
  • Design compensation and incentive programs aligned with financial performance and productivity metrics
  • Establish leadership development, succession planning, and performance management frameworks
  • Strengthen employee engagement, retention, and communication across distributed teams
  • Partner closely with Operations and Finance to align people strategy with operating rhythms


Required Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive HR or business leadership experience
  • Senior HR leadership experience in a private equity–backed, acquisitive, or highly operational environment
  • Demonstrated success leading post-merger integration and organizational transformation
  • Experience supporting organizations with $250M+ in revenue and multi-site operations
  • Strong background in HR systems, compensation strategy, and people analytics
  • Ability to operate with urgency, clarity, and decisiveness in fast-paced environments
  • Executive presence with experience influencing senior leaders and investors


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
  • HR certifications (SHRM, PHR, SPHR) preferred but not required
  • Experience supporting field-based, industrial, or service-oriented operations
  • Background in HR modernization or digital workforce transformation
