Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Professional Services

Location: Offshore Remote (LATAM) – preference for Santa Catarina, Brazil or Lima, Peru

Employment Type: Contract (12 months)

Rate: To be confirmed (Target: ~$18 USD/hour)

Experience Level: Senior (5-7+ years)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-volume, strategic technical deployments across Latin America. This role requires managing a dynamic portfolio of enterprise solution projects (typically 90-180 days) while serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for customers in the region. The ideal candidate will be PMP-certified, bilingual in Spanish and English, and experienced in SaaS, cybersecurity, or networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Project Foundation & Planning

  • Identify all project stakeholders from the Statement of Work (customer and internal)
  • Define and control project scope, requirements, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Build and structure project teams with appropriate technical and business resources
  • Develop and adapt project schedules using appropriate tools and methodologies

Execution & Customer Partnership

  • Craft and implement detailed project work schedules, adjusting as project needs evolve
  • Ensure clear understanding of scope, responsibilities, and timelines across all teams
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for project-related issues
  • Act as a trusted advisor, managing customer expectations from kickoff through closeout

Quality Assurance & Risk Management

  • Review all deliverables before client submission to maintain quality standards
  • Proactively identify, document, and mitigate project risks and exposures
  • Rigorously manage project scope and document change requests
  • Apply project management methodology while driving process improvements

Reporting & Documentation

  • Ensure all project documents are comprehensive, updated, and properly archived
  • Provide weekly reports on team hours and expenses for financial oversight
  • Deliver clear weekly customer status reports throughout project lifecycle
  • Identify and report on new service or expansion opportunities uncovered during execution

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 5-7+ years in customer-facing Professional Services Project Management
  • Experience managing technical enterprise solutions deployments (SaaS, networking, or cybersecurity)
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification strongly preferred
  • BS in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or equivalent education/experience

Language Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (speak, read, write)
  • Professional proficiency in Portuguese (preferred for Brazil correspondence)

Technical & Industry Knowledge

  • Experience with SaaS, cybersecurity, networking, enterprise solutions, firewalls, or cloud
  • Exposure to Google G Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Understanding of technical deployment lifecycles and methodologies

Essential Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) for executive and technical audiences
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in high-volume environments
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
  • Strong stakeholder management and escalation handling capabilities
