Job Description


Job Role: Webflow Front End Developer


Compensation range: $2000 - $3000 AUD / Monthly


Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement


Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you'll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: They are a strategic communications and corporate affairs consultancy, supporting clients from local start-ups to large multinationals. They specialize in crisis, issues, and sustainability communications, focusing on understanding the complexities of each challenge and considering the perspectives of all stakeholders.

With offices across multiple cities, they have a team of senior consultants with extensive experience in corporate governance, board and leadership coaching, media relations, advocacy, reputation management, investor and government relations, and community engagement. Their integrated, omni-channel approach is supported by an in-house digital and creative production team, delivering web development, online branding, content strategy, social media, digital advertising, and SEO.

Role Overview: We're looking for a front-end web developer and creative with extensive experience designing and building visually striking websites on Webflow and WordPress. The ideal candidate should also be skilled in creating a variety of high-quality creative assets.

It's essential that our consultants are smart, innovative, adaptable, and excellent communicators, with flawless spoken and written English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain small-to-medium websites using Webflow
  • Implement UI designs while applying UX best practices
  • Translate briefs and wireframes into polished, responsive websites
  • Ensure websites meet SEO and performance best practices, including PageSpeed optimisation
  • Collaborate with consultants and designers on creative executions
  • Support delivery of digital assets such as social media graphics and campaign materials


Requirements

  • Proven experience building websites using Webflow (core requirement)
  • Working knowledge of WordPress
  • Strong proficiency in Figma and other prototyping tools
  • Understanding of on-site SEO best practices
  • Familiarity with technical concepts such as:
    • Caching and CDNs
    • Image and asset optimisation
    • DNS and domain management
  • Experience using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
  • Ability to create creative assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Video editing or motion graphics experience is a plus
