Role DescriptionThis is a remote internship / volunteer opportunity for a Global Culture & People Experience Intern / Volunteer. In this role, you will support initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, enhance engagement, and promote inclusive, values-driven ways of working across a global team.
You will contribute to culture-building, communication systems, skills development, and knowledge sharing, while developing future-ready HR and people skills in a remote, AI-augmented environment. You will work closely with leadership and People Operations to build meaningful connections within the organization and help bring innovative, human-centered ideas to life.
Familiarity with AI tools is required, as digital and AI-assisted tools are used to support communication, documentation, learning, and people processes. No technical or programming background is required.
Key ResponsibilitiesCulture, Engagement & People Experience- Support initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture
- Assist with onboarding experiences that reinforce values, purpose, and belonging
- Help document and evolve the Kenosis Collective Culture Code
- Support employee well-being, engagement, and recognition activities
- Coordinate feedback, reflection, and learning check-ins
- Design and facilitate skills-mapping activities for all staff
- Help team members reflect on, document, and articulate their developing skills
- Coordinate and facilitate book-based knowledge-sharing sessions, including:
- curating or selecting learning materials
- preparing reflection prompts or discussion guides
- facilitating inclusive, respectful discussions in a global, remote setting
- Support the setup and maintenance of internal communication channels (e.g., Slack, shared drives, documentation spaces)
- Help define and document communication norms and processes (onboarding communications, updates, announcements, feedback loops)
- Assist in managing internal communication strategies that support clarity and connection
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding of interns and volunteers
- Maintain people trackers and documentation with care and confidentiality
- Contribute to research on global workplace, culture, and people trends
- Empathy, emotional intelligence, and ethical judgment
- Clear written communication and facilitation in digital-first environments
- Cultural intelligence and cross-cultural collaboration

- Experience in event planning, communication strategies, facilitation, or research is a plus
- Proficiency with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack)
- Basic familiarity with AI tools used for writing, research, or workflow support
- A genuine passion for creating positive impact in professional environments
- Hands-on experience in global culture-building and people experience
- Practical exposure to skills mapping, learning facilitation, and communication systems
- Development of future-ready, transferable skills valued across industries
- Experience working in a mission-driven, remote-first organization
- Certificate of Completion and LinkedIn recommendation upon successful completion
