Role Description:


A Project Manager at Canidium is accountable for planning, executing, and closing software implementation projects that are aligned with the key deliverables of different technology solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Financials: Manage monthly financials, including budget tracking, time and expense approvals, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Documentation: Update project documentation as required, maintaining accurate records of project progress, changes, and deliverables.
  • Project Planning: Estimate work effort, team member capabilities, and timelines for completion accurately, ensuring realistic project plans.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate project delivery risks, proactively identifying and addressing potential challenges.
  • Project Execution: Maintain and complete project deliverables on time and within budget, ensuring successful project execution. 
  • Reporting: Provide weekly project status reports and monthly executive status reports, keeping stakeholders informed about project progress. 
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze technical problems and recommend solution options to project teams and clients, fostering effective problem resolution.
  • Sales Coordination: Coordinate with sales and leadership to close business, ensuring alignment between project objectives and business goals. 
  • Communication: Communicate sales information and product changes internally and externally, facilitating clear and consistent messaging. 
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with clients and vendors to facilitate timely project completion and enhance collaboration. 
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify and qualify opportunities for add-on work, up-selling, and securing managed services contracts, contributing to revenue growth.


Skills and Qualities:


  • Certification: PMP or SCRUM certification
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects, tasks, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish to facilitate collaboration and convey project updates effectively across diverse teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Adept at identifying challenges, proposing solutions, and making informed decisions to keep projects on track.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changes in project scope, objectives, or timelines.
  • Leadership: The ability to lead cross-functional teams and motivate them towards project goals.
  • Analytical Thinking: Analytical mindset to assess data and make data-driven decisions in the context of Sales Operations and Revenue Operations.
  • Time Management: Strong time management skills to efficiently prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure the timely completion of projects.
  • Presentation & Public Speaking Skills: Proficient in presenting project updates, findings, and recommendations to diverse audiences. Comfortable with public speaking and capable of delivering compelling presentations.
  • Project Management Tools: Proficiency in project management tools to plan, execute, and monitor project progress.


Experience:


  • 5+ years prior technical project management experience with package software implementation required
  • 2+ years ICM / SPM project experience with software packages from companies like SAP or CallidusCloud, Xactly, IBM (Varicent)
  • Experience with CRM (SFDC, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.), ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Financials (Oracle, Zuora, etc.)

Location:


This is a full-time position based in Costa Rica. This position is fully remote, with opportunities for occasional in-person meetings with other Costa Rica-based employees.


Please note that travel to the United States either for training purposes or client meetings is likely; therefore, having a valid US Travel Visa is a plus.
