Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Mid Senior Test Automation Engineer. The individual will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions to ensure the quality of software applications. Responsibilities include creating and executing test cases, conducting manual and automated software testing, identifying and resolving defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure compliance with quality standards. The engineer will assist in analyzing system performance and work to improve testing processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, validate system behavior, detect defects early, and continuously improve testing processes and automation coverage.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing
- Execute all levels of testing: Functional, Integration, System, Smoke, and Regression
- Analyze user stories, use cases, and requirements for validity, feasibility, and testability
- Design and execute test cases using a test management tool, and write clear, detailed bug reports
- Perform manual testing for Web and Mobile applications
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards
- Track, report, and verify software defects with strong attention to detail
- Contribute to improving QA processes, efficiency, and automation practices
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps experience is a plus)
Qualifications
- Should be Egyptian.
- Strong understanding of software development fundamentals, including SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
- Solid knowledge of Software Testing principles and QA best practices
- Hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and tools
- Experience with at least 2 programming language such as Java, C#, or TypeScript.
- Experience with API testing tools and methodologies
- Familiarity with project management and tracking tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps (Azure preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
- At least 1 year of professional experience in software testing or automation
