Role Overview

This role will sit on the Brand Media Team, a dynamic and fast paced team with the goal to grow audience and engagement. A Junior Media Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the media and creative teams to ensure the smooth, timely, and accurate delivery of advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. The role is an entry-level position that involves managing project schedules, trafficking creative assets, performing quality assurance checks, and orchestrating cross-channel reporting.


This contract role will be fully remote, 20 hours a week, and must be able to work across PST and CST.

Realtor.com is seeking a highly organized, collaborative and detail-oriented Junior Media Coordinator. The ideal candidate is an eager learner with excellent communication skills, a proactive and positive attitude, and a strong interest in digital marketing and advertising operations. This role will provide a solid foundation for a career in media planning or ad operations.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign coordination: Assist in the trafficking of advertising campaigns, including gathering and organizing creative assets, tags, and campaign parameters, as well as owning creative flighting across all paid channels.
  • Project management: Coordinate with internal and external teams (Creative, Sales, Media Planners, clients) to ensure deliverables are on time and meet technical specifications.
  • Quality assurance: Perform QA checks on creative assets, tags, and tracking to ensure error-free campaign launches.
  • Workflow management: Manage the flow of information and materials between departments, keeping projects on schedule and identifying issues promptly.
  • Administrative support: Maintain project documentation, including insertion orders, powerpoints, campaign records, and trafficking sheets.
  • Monitoring and reporting: Assist with monitoring campaign performance, pulling performance data, and flagging issues. Support creation of reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and escalate issues with campaign delivery, discrepancies, or asset implementation.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A foundational understanding of full funnel advertising principles and media terminology.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
  • Familiarity with ad servers (e.g., Google Ad Manager) and project management software (Trello, Asana) is a plus.
  • Previous internship or experience in advertising, media, or project coordination preferred.
