About The Role
As a contributor to Scale AI’s Outlier project, you will play a vital role in the development and refinement of cutting-edge artificial intelligence systems. Your expertise and insights will directly impact the quality and safety of AI models used globally. This role involves evaluating, ranking, and providing feedback on AI outputs, ensuring that the models produce more natural, accurate, and contextually appropriate responses. The position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to work from anywhere and choose your hours, making it ideal for professionals seeking a remote and independent work environment.
You will adopt a user-centric approach, simulating real-world scenarios to generate natural data that meets practical needs. Using structured rubrics, you will evaluate AI reasoning and problem-solving capabilities, providing detailed feedback to help improve model performance. Depending on your background and skill set, you may contribute across multiple projects, engaging with diverse AI systems and datasets. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher, or current enrollment in an accredited program.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop complex prompts and evaluate nuanced AI responses.
- Exceptional writing skills, capable of articulating decisions, critiques, and feedback clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and technical assessment of AI outputs.
- Experience in fields such as literature, creative writing, history, philosophy, theology, or related areas.
- Prior experience in writing, editing, or content strategy roles.
- Interest or background in AI, machine learning, or emerging tech tools.
- Adopt a user-focused mindset to generate natural, realistic data that aligns with practical AI use cases.
- Utilize structured rubrics to evaluate AI outputs, ensuring responses meet quality standards and user needs.
- Review and rank AI reasoning, problem-solving, and language generation responses to improve model accuracy.
- Contribute to various projects based on your expertise, providing detailed feedback and insights.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency in all evaluations and feedback.
- Engage with the AI models through the provided platform, experimenting and providing constructive critiques.
Earn competitive compensation of up to $15 USD per hour, with payments made weekly via PayPal or AirTM. Rates are determined based on the quality, accuracy, and time invested in each task, with additional incentive opportunities available on certain projects.
