Tasks

  • Lead the integration of Rust across embedded platforms and legacy systems

  • Provide architectural and memory-safe coding guidance to multi-discipline teams

  • Collaborate across engineering teams to define interfaces and optimize performance

  • Design, develop, and test embedded applications using Rust, C/C++, and Python

  • Contribute throughout the full SDLC from concept to formal verification

  • Drive best practices and lead technical innovation in real-time operating systems like VxWorks, Linux, and Integrity


Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Active U.S. Department of Defense Secret Clearance (Required)

  • 8+ years embedded software development experience

  • 3+ years production-grade Rust development experience

  • Strong background in C/C++, real-time systems, and object-oriented design

  • Excellent communication and leadership collaboration skills


Nice to have(s)



  • Experience converting legacy C/C++ to Rust

  • Familiarity with UML tools (IBM Rhapsody, MagicDraw/Cameo)

  • Device driver & Board Support Package (BSP) development

  • Background in Information Assurance, cryptography, or NSA Type 1 certifications
