🎯 Key Responsibilities- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis
- Implement and maintain security tools, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams to ensure secure infrastructure
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Analyze security logs, investigate anomalies, and prepare reports for management
- Conduct security awareness training for employees
- Stay updated with cybersecurity trends, threats, and compliance requirements
- Assist in audits, compliance checks, and regulatory reporting
- 2–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or related roles
- Strong understanding of network, system, and application security
- Experience with security tools and technologies (SIEM, firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners)
- Knowledge of cloud security practices (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISM are a plus
- Fluent in English
- Must be based in Australia with legal right to work full-time
