Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

The Role

We are seeking an experienced fullstack software engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust e-commerce solutions, with a strong focus on custom Shopify development, leveraging modern web technologies, and AWS serverless infrastructure. This role is essential for driving our brand's digital presence and optimizing the core customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using JavaScript, Node.js, and AWS services
• Build, customize, and optimize Shopify storefronts, themes, Liquid templates, and Shopify apps (custom/private)
• Integrate third-party APIs and build internal tools to support operations and product needs
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Work in a fast-moving startup environment, contributing to architecture decisions and process improvements
• Own features from concept to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
  
  

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional full-stack engineering experience
• Proven experience building or customizing Shopify stores or Shopify apps (Liquid, theme development, API integrations)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js
• Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Experience working in startup or high-velocity engineering environments
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, web architecture, and application performance
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD workflows, and modern development practices
• Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of deliverables
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with React or other modern front-end frameworks
• Background in e-commerce tools, payments, or logistics
• Familiarity with Shopify Hydrogen or Shopify Functions
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and infrastructure-as-code
