Social Media Manager for Crypto-Native Proprietary Trading Platform

About the Opportunity:

The organization is a fully remote, global team focused on accelerating the adoption of crypto and blockchain technologies. This role is for a Social Media Manager at a crypto-native proprietary trading platform recently acquired by the organization. The position involves managing and growing the social media presence of both the brand and its co-founder, with a focus on content creation, community engagement, and real-time market commentary.

Responsibilities:

• Own the organization''s social media presence across X, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, Discord, and other platforms.

• Manage and grow the social presence of the co-founder, focusing on content and narratives specific to the brand.

• Develop content ideas, scripts, talking points, and outlines for short-form and long-form videos.

• Craft unique perspectives, market commentary, and educational content based on trading strategies and industry trends.

• Collaborate with production teams to deliver high-quality, timely video and social assets.

• Manage posting calendars, daily publishing, community engagement, and responses to market events.

• Partner with Growth, Brand, and Leadership teams to align social strategy with company objectives.

• Analyze performance data to refine content strategies and enhance engagement with traders.

• Monitor and react to crypto narratives, trading trends, influencer activity, memes, and platform algorithm changes.

• Help define the brand''s voice in a dynamic, fast-growing industry.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in social media, content strategy, or community management, ideally in crypto, fintech, or high-growth tech environments.

• Deep understanding of crypto markets, with personal trading experience and strong familiarity with crypto culture.

• Experience managing or collaborating with influencers or public-facing leaders.

• Strong writing skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into approachable content.

• Proficiency in scriptwriting, short-form content, and creative concepts.

• Expertise in X, TikTok, YouTube, and an understanding of content performance on each platform.

• Highly collaborative and comfortable working with executives, creators, and production teams.

• Fast-paced, culturally aware, and able to build content in alignment with market rhythms.

• Proactive, curious, and interested in shaping thought leadership in crypto.
